Our staff are our backbone

Brendan "Red" Morison

Brendan ‘Red’ Morison was blessed to grow up surfing and fishing on our pristine coastline between Ballina and Byron. Although he has seen many changes over the years, it is his upbringing and connection to community and country that allows him a unique perspective of how to learn from and value the local environment.

He has spent a lifetime forging relationships in the local area. He has earned respect by paying respect. A value he feels passionate about that he hopes to impart on to those he teaches.

He has over 20 years teaching experience teaching primary aged students in both the public and private systems. He is a strong believer in connection, community and experiential learning.

“Learning isn’t confined to the classroom. It comes through our experiences, our interactions and the people we meet. A teacher shapes the learning and connects experiences to engage deep understanding.”
